Gatehouse School is committed to recognising the importance of physical activity outside the curriculum, and as a result we offer a wide variety of extracurricular sporting activities and arrange a large number of sporting fixtures for teams of varying ability throughout the school year. We offer nurture sessions that run in the morning, before school, for pupils who are excelling expectations in football, netball, rugby or cross country. We also offer a nurture group session called Early Movers to support pupils with developing their fine motor skills, such as throwing, catching and working as part of a team.
