Nursery children enjoy a number of special events throughout the year at Gatehouse. We celebrate the children’s birthdays by singing the traditional birthday songs, and throughout the year children also enjoy a number of varied visits ranging from talks from local figures and parents to drama workshops.
We have a Christian foundation and Nursery children will explore religious festivals with Reception classes throughout the year. All the children participate in Nativity plays.
We value all faiths and cultures at Gatehouse, and we aim to celebrate cultural events such as Hannuka, Diwali, Buddism, Chinese New Year, Ramadan, Eid, Christmas and Easter. We would gladly welcome any support parents are able to offer in these and any other religious or cultural celebrations.
